Would you like another beer Luke?

Emily is definitely on form in this episode. Kelly Bishop is such a phenomenal actress she takes the simplest lines but then delivers them with the best facial expressions, timing and body language.

Without any spoilers, let's just say that when Emily was talking to Luke at dinner even her simple dialogue and tone asking him if he wants another beer makes me laugh out loud every rewatch.

Though their schemes are sometimes diabolical, watching this as you get older you realise that Richard and Emily truly always just wanted the best (their version of it) for Lorelai and Rory and that's pretty sweet.

It turns out that all of the dresses that the girls wear throughout the episode were actually the same dresses from the cotillion episode earlier in the series. Valerie Campbell, Gilmore Girls's key costumer explained that they reused those white dresses and dyed them for the season 5 season. As written in Teen Vogue, 2016.

Patzer
During the big stunt, the character of Seth assists Logan and Rory at the top of the tower. They talk for only a few seconds before jumping to the ground. In the shot of people celebrating that were already on the ground, Seth is shown which would have been impossible unless he jumped before the rest of the group (which would have been pointless since the big stunt is always done as a group, not a lone participant).
