I am in the middle of rewatching this series and wow, I never realised when I originally watched this how amazingly immature, annoying and incredibly selfish Lorelei is and this episode brings it to the forefront! If it is not on her terms she is a brat! She crashed the footy game and then destroyed everyone around her, Jason takes her on a lovely date and she throws her toys out of the pram as it is not something she likes! Lorelei doesn't grow up at all! The sad thing is I know it doesn't get better. I spent the original time watching this hating Lorelei's parents, but rewatching it, yes they are still bad but Lorelei never grows up!

- TriviaRichard Gilmore sings the Yale Fight Song, "Bulldog" before the big Harvard-Yale game as all the other attendees in the quad join in. Emily then mentions to Lorelai and Rory that Cole Porter wrote the song. Cole Porter did, indeed, write the words and music to "Bulldog," Yale's official fight song. He was a 1913 graduate of Yale University.
- GoofsBrennan picks up the pot of coffee from the coffee marker but Kirk asks for a napkin, at which point Brennan puts the pot of coffee in his right hand to pull the napkin out of his back pocket. He takes the pot of coffee directly off the burner so how could he possibly hold it in his hand by the bottom of it? It would be scalding hot.
