Here is an episode full on undying devotion to parents. Sure it may be about Stephanie recovering from from a traumatizing event, but the love she shows towards her dad is beautiful.
An earthquake in San Fransisco leads Danny to being three hours late getting home and damages the Gibbler house making Kimmy stay with the Tanners for a few days. The only bit shown is Kimmy's last night. Because Danny was so late getting home, Stephanie becomes overly clingy to him. Who can blame her? She thought the earthquake seriously injured him. When she prevents him from attending a dinner party for work, Jesse and Joey convince him to see a specialist. When they do, it is great.
The subplot is hilarious. DJ completely overreacts over her first zit when she is supposed to play Mrs. Claus in a school play. All is good when she sees ten over girls with zits. DJ gets them all to laugh when she says: "Does anyone want to play connect the dots?" It is after DJ leaves after telling Jesse and Joey this story that is one of my favourite moments. Jesse proudly says "Joey, we did it again." Joey bursts his bubble saying "Jess, we didn't do anything," to which Jesse responds "Will you just let me have my moment!?" I'm dead.
The subplot is perfect. The regular plot isn't perfect, but I still really liked it.
