According to the writer's commentary, the video for "My Lovely Horse" was based on a 1970s lifestyle video for the Swarbrigg song "That's What Friends are For," which they claim is the funniest music video of all time. Some of the shots are even copied down to every last detail.

A classic.

It is no wonder so many people remember this episode so vividly, and so fondly, it's such a classic episode, with some incredibly funny moments. Who will ever forget Ted and Dougal being up on that stage.

I think my favourite scene has to be the video to the song, it's so wonderfully funny. It's clearly a nod and a joke to just how successful Ireland were in the Eurovision song contest at the time, they seemed to always put out a good song, and do very well. That is before the ESC turned into a political showpiece, with block voting.

Always great to see Father Dick Byrne and Cyril reappear.

My lovely horse..... It's a joy.

Much loved, 9/10.
