    Nowhere to run

Routine episode featuring roadies, drugs and a diabolical plan by some Arab Terrorists. Dempsey and Makepeace are on the case, bickering as usual and their Spiking raising his blood pressure by telling Dempsey to rein in his gung-ho tendencies. The finale is quite lively.

    Nowhere to Run

It starts off with a young roadie getting killed as he and his mate stopped off at a roadside cafe. Their truck was being stolen.

Dempsey poses as a rock photographer suspecting that the truck robbery was an inside job and maybe drugs had something to do with it.

What Dempsey and Makepeace discover that the robberies were related to terrorist financing and gun running for some middle eastern group who are arranging an escape of a high profile prisoner.

Plenty of plot here as we think this might be an episode concentrating on the music industry. At least Dempsey does not have to pretend to be an American assassin who has just flown in, just a photographer.

Some nice gun toting action but as Makepeace was showing off her archery skills earlier in the episode. I would have thought a bow and arrow might have made an appearance.

Lt. James Dempsey: [Makepeace is about to shoot an arrow from a bow] I guess that does wonders for your chest, huh?

[startled, Makepeace lets go and the arrow hits the top of her target]

Lt. James Dempsey: It sure looks like it...

[She turns around with an angry look to see Dempsey brandishing a banana]

Lt. James Dempsey: Hey, you hit it! What do you get, a cupie doll or something?

[takes a bite from his banana]

Det. Sgt. Harry Makepeace: No, I get a gorilla from America.
