    Somehow.... appropriate.

Mrs Peacock has invited Journalist David Stringer to Arlington Grange, who plans to write an article for Country Ways, but it quickly becomes obvious that he's there to seek out scandals and secrets.

It's a particularly enjoyable episode, it's wonderfully over the top and fanciful, but as a Whodunnit it's very entertaining, I had no idea who it was, he managed to upset everyone.

Tom Baker steals it once again, he plays the part with absolute sincerity, he really is a cut above.

Dudley Sutton is rather good as the villainous Stringer, he really does play the part well, and give us a loathsome villain.

I have to admit, I'm not all to familiar with some of the studio guests, I definitely remember Jenny Powell from my teen years, Kevin Lyons of course would have been known to millions as The Bill's 'Tosh.'

    8/10.
