In the past episode, slickster con Phil Silvers (Shifty) convinces Jed Central Park is for sale -- and at a good price! Jed and Granny settle down in the park, to kind of try things out, preparing to build a log cabin? And yes, Granny meets some muggers, the most outrageous bit of all. Super comedy writing and wacky dialogue combined.

Aside from Phil Silvers, Sammy Davis, Jr makes a guest appearance as Sgt. Muldoon? Was that from CAR 54? Must see TV. Look for bone-cruncher Norman Grabowski as one of the muggers. Norman was in a ton of movies, playing gentle giants. Behind the scenes, he was in even more famous, designing many movie and tv cars, including Kookie's classic ride in 77 SUNSET STRIP. Comedian Lenny Breman plays a cabbie.

Mr. Drysdale crashes the scene and begs everybody to come back home. Mr. D is going nuts. Wait for the ending.
