Featured review
Second edition of this vignettes' series has a new front line, with Evan Stone and Tara taking over from Nick East and Rayveness, but the same format as before. Interesting scenes and well-performed sex footage make it a winner in the short story sweepstakes.
Evan is sculpting while Tara is painting in their friendly competition to create the best erotic tableau. Samantha (Sterlyng) has the lowly role, a constant in this series, of an artist's model who simply stands stoically as both artists apply body paint to her nude torso during the interstitial scenes where they announce the next painting, five in all.
Of the varied cast, Euro star Sophie Evans is the most alluring, clad in revealing fetish gear in an abstract white room where dildos are sticking out of the wall everywhere. Michael J. Cox does the honors of humping her in relatively uncomfortable positions for a showy set-piece.
The series' calling card of atmosphere is better displayed in a period setting of taxi dancers, with everybody making out (including extras) in a night club while the principal hump. Dale DaBone and the lovely Lola are front and center in this opening gambit, with Lola oddly resembling current Broadway fave Idina Menzel.
Evan Stone explains what he calls The Law of Contradictions, boiled down to the adage that "nothing's really what it seems". To illustrate his portrait is that of a priest having sex with a beauty: Chris Cannon and Bunny Luv, before she took up directing porn. Twist ending to this role-playing exercise is well-handled.
Evan's next story involves a threesome: as Dillon learns to dance (and hump) with Ava Vincent and Cherry Mirage, integrating some lesbian action too.
Finale is as always, the two artists letting bygones be bygones and having sex together, with Evan in charge of seducing Tara. She's an actress I've seen before in other Tanner videos, notable for having a natural "everywoman" look similar to Jodi West, not the typical porn actress aura.
