Janine's paranoid, with good reason, in this vintage feature from Vivid VIdeo. An unsatisfying ending lets the audience down.
A 1940s setting is established by costume styles and cars, as flashbacks establish Janine as a woman on the run, escaping from her bad guy lover Tony Tedeschi. This was shot during the star's girl/girl only heyday, so some suspense is generated when Tony bets her in a poker game, and loses. A gang-bang scene begins, but what we get is Janine masturbating to stimulate the guys into having a circle jerk.
There are some nice touches, such as her telling her tale to a friendly cab driver who doesn't believe her but gives her a free ride and even a change of clothes. Director Paul Thomas stages a segment on an airplane (setting up the movie's title) convincingly, with a fine set representing the plane's interior, and the cast physically simulating extreme trubulence well.
