This movie features three actors who are descendants of notable film directors: Scott Eastwood (son of Clint Eastwood), Jack Huston (grandson of John Huston), and Oona Chaplin (granddaughter of Charles Chaplin).

When Sofia puts on Luke's hat at the rodeo, she puts it on backwards. You can tell by the flatness of the brim. At the bar, the hat changes location on her head frequently.

The UK release was cut, this film was originally seen for advice, when the distributor was informed that it was likely to receive a 15 classification but that their preferred 12A could be obtained by removing a scene of strong sex. When the film was submitted for formal classification, that scene had been removed and the film was classified 12A.
