- CuriosidadesIn 1987 (when his career had nosedived), his son Andrew boarded a Jersey ferry bound for the mainland in London. When the ferry docked, he was not on board. He is presumed to have either drowned accidentally or to have committed suicide.
- Citações[on Joseph Losey] Joe could have been one of the very great directors... he was carrying around too much negative psychological baggage from the early days, and from the blacklist, and from having to adapt to the "old school tie" style of movie-making in England, and in the society as well. He could have been a Billy Wilder, a Visconti or whatever. But something held him back. He was always on the brink of commercial success, pulling back at the last minute.
