Kristen, originally from Bergen County, NJ, graduated from West Virginia University where she developed a TV network, "Sea TV", during her Semester at Sea in 2005. She was working her way up the ranks in hospitality at the W Hotel in Scottsdale, AZ when she discovered casting and never looked back! She landed her first Casting Recruiter position in 2011 and shortly after, moved to Los Angeles to work her way into Reality TV Casting. She quickly developed her skills and came up through the ranks from Casting Recruiter to Casting Associate, Casting Producer and now Casting Director, opening her company, KMoss Casting in 2020. Kristen worked briefly as the Head of Casting for Development at Barracuda Entertainment / Electus Media where she developed a show that was picked up for a pilot by CMT. She also is the the co-founder of the networking group "The Reality TV Academy" as well as the Creator and Executive Producer of the Reality TV Awards, which is holding its 8th Annual Show in Spring of 2021.
She has cast shows such as Real Housewives of NJ, Let's Make A Deal, Fear Factor, Cupcake Wars, Big Brother, Bad Girls Club, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Bachelor Pad, The Face, The Biggest Loser, The Proposal, MasterChef, MasterChef Jr., Gordon Ramsay's The F-Word, and various game shows for GSN. She has been the Supervising Casting Producer for ABC's The Great Christmas Light Fight for the past 8 seasons and is looking forward to a Season 10 pickup with Fremantle. She has done Contestant Producing for Beat the Clock and Match Game as well as several other development projects. Kristen has recently been working with Facebook on their "social" campaigns. She has also been developing shows and speaking at various conferences on the benefits of branding yourself in Reality Television.
