David Brillhart is a producer based in the United States. He is credited as producer of the one-hour television special What An Incredible Life featuring Jordin Sparks, Myron Butler and Kenny Lattimore, which aired on most ABC television network affiliates on Christmas day, 2024. He also produced an Easter Special, We've Got Evidence, which aired on most ABC television network affiliates on Easter Sunday, 2024.
In 2023 Brillhart produced and directed a short, Make Believe, for the CFAA Creative Interpretations project. In 2022, Brillhart produced an hour-long Christmas special, Come Adore Him, which aired on most ABC television network affiliates on Christmas day, 2022 and NBC television network affiliates on Christmas day, 2023.
He was director of photography on the independent feature "Hell and Mr. Fudge" and "Miracle at Gate 213." His international library of HD stock footage is under license with the Pond 5. He was director of photography on Ripple Effect, an R&D project organized by several Hollywood studios and USC's ETC division proving the viability of virtual production in a budget limited and Covid restricted work environment.
Brillhart's corporate work is extensive. He oversaw electronic media at Maranatha Volunteers International, a non-profit faith-based ministry that provides life changing volunteer opportunities in the form of global construction projects building churches and schools. Maranatha was one of a dozen regular clients David nurtured for 15 years as president of Brillhart Media; a Maryland based Production Company with a reputation for emotive story telling through artful images and sound.
He was one of the first producers to bring images of the Ethiopian famine to light in 1983. Since then, he has captured numerous awards for his ability to tell stories in settings as obscure as Ouagadougou. Mali or Alma Ata, Kazakhstan, and as exotic as Katmandu in Nepal or Machu Pichu in Peru. His works include comedy, drama, documentary and verité style programs.
He has served Broadcast and Corporate clients that include Discovery Channel, National Geographic TV, Lockheed Martin, Adventist Health, Adventist Healthcare, Florida Hospital, the National Council of Negro Women, Sun Microsystems, and ADRA International.
His awards include a Gold Angel from the Los Angeles chapter of the International Television Association; Silver from the Houston Film Festival and numerous awards from the New York Festivals and Chicago based International Film and Video festival.
