Emily Elsner is a Producer in the network and digital space, podcaster, and terrible cook.
Growing up in a village mentioned in the Doomsday book, in a household with a thirty-year veteran Scotland Yard Detective as her Dad, she heard whispered stories from village residents of a spectral hooded monk who to this day appears outside the local church at 3 am. The combination of local lore and evidence based case resolution, sparked her imagination and ignited a love of storytelling.
Her approach to creative development is based in research, metrics, audience data and a love of producing authentic and engaging content. She's gone on to produce numerous successful digital and network shows (EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION, SURVIVOR, THE VOICE) all fueled by storytelling that transcends genres.
When she's not producing television, Emily can be found dancing around the house to Wham!, burning toast and binging Dateline.
