Gaurav Dwivedi is an Indian movie, television, and theatre actor.
Life was a regular affair till he packed an Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Degree into his academic life. He decided to pursue his Master's in Australia but soon realized his interests lay in exploring creativity. He returned to Delhi and became an RJ for Red FM. He also hosted All India Radio programs. If that wasn't enough exploration to cope with he cleared a very exigent selection process at the prestigious FTII (Film and Television Institute of India), Pune, and completed a Diploma in acting from FTII, changing the course of his life to become an actor.
In FTII, renowned director Ketan Mehta spotted his grit during a play, where he had the opportunity to brew a range of emotions and cast him as Raja Ravi Varma's younger brother "Raj Varma" in his movie Rang Rasiya. He received a lot of praise for his debut performance.
The journey continued with DD National TV series Gora in which he played the main lead role of "Gora". This show was based on the novel "Gora" by Rabindranath Tagore. After this he was cast in many movies, short films, and web series, bringing in acclaim both in the industry and film festivals across the world.
Commercials also favored him as the quintessential evolving Indian husband to a sensitive father.He is featured in various advertisements including ICICI prudential life insurance, Bank of India Home Loans, Honda Amaze car, and Tata Salt.
If asked to define his journey as an actor, he owes it to his kid-like excitement and an urge to express himself through his acting. He likes reading, writing, and following various Sports Tournaments across the Globe. He is an articulate orator and writer.
