Manfred Spitzer
The psychiatrist, psychologist and university lecturer is medical director of the Psychiatric University Clinic in Ulm (since 1998), and overall manager of the Transfer Center for Neuroscience and Learning (ZNL), which opened there in 2004 and deals primarily with neurodidactics. - Parallel studies of medicine, philosophy and psychology in Freiburg i.B. Diploma in psychology, doctorates in medicine (1983) and philosophy (1985). He also completed his habilitation in psychiatry in 1989 (specialist in psychiatry). Senior physician at the Psychiatric University Clinic in Heidelberg (1990 -1997). Twice visiting professor at Harvard University. Chair of Psychiatry at the University of Ulm (1997). He was then editor-in-chief of the "Journal for Interdisciplinary Training in Neurology" (Schattauer Verlag, Stuttgart). Prof. Dr. Dr. Manfred Spitz is an internationally renowned non-fiction author.
