Enss Mitchell, producer/writer/comedy club founder, is considered one of the godfathers of African-American comedy as the owner of The Comedy Union. The Union was the oldest black-owned comedy club on the West Coast. The club was a proving ground for some of today's top stars where they honed their stand-up skills on The Comedy Union's stage.
Enss' deep knowledge and network in comedy propelled him to manage a roster of comedians for TV comedy specials, producing projects including Guy Torry's Phat Comedy Tuesdays, and The Funny Spot with comedian Tony Rock for TV One.
Following the closing of The Comedy Union during the pandemic, Enss has turned his attention full-time to producing and developing comedy projects that he hopes will heal the world with humor.
Recently, Enss was a producer on Vice TV's acclaimed "Dark Side of Comedy, now in its 2nd season.
