Scarlett Islas is an award-winning director, actress, and multi-talented artist known for her diverse and dynamic career path. Born as a first-generation Mexican American, Scarlett's heritage and vibrant experiences have significantly shaped her journey.
Scarlett began her career as an NDT Inspector in the petrochemical industry and later transitioned to the aerospace field as an Eddy Current Array specialist. However, her adventurous spirit and desire for creative expression led her to pursue acting in 2022. After landing her first supporting role in a short film, she fell in love with the process and decided she also wanted to work behind the camera as a filmmaker.
In 2024, Scarlett founded Rebellatrix Anima Productions (Rebellious Soul), a film production company dedicated to empowering artists and bringing their visions to life. She released her first documentary, "Changing Lives - The Acting Class That Changed Her Life," which garnered critical acclaim and earned a bronze Telly Award.
As an actress, Scarlett has starred in several short films and her first feature film, "Unnamed."
As a lifelong learner and student of life, Scarlett continually hones her skills in directing, producing, writing, cinematography, and video editing. Through Rebellatrix Anima Productions, she remains committed to illuminating the world with unique stories and heartfelt passion.
