Mike Stewart is an award-winning picture editor with extensive experience across both scripted and unscripted television and film.
Known for his creativity and sharp storytelling, Mike has contributed to a variety of high-profile productions, from the international hit All Star Shore (2022) for Paramount+ to Bahamas Life (2018) for HGTV. Recent credits include the Paramount+ true crime hit series PD True (2024). Mike also edited the acclaimed children's series Think Big (2009) for TVO and every season of Canadian Idol (2003) for CTV, earning Canadian Screen Award nominations for his work on both.
A versatile editor, Mike's credits span documentary features, including the celebrated NHL film Names on the Cup (2017), as well as numerous short films and two feature films, including the cult hit The Death of Alice Blue (2009). His unique style and deep understanding of narrative structure have earned him the respect of producers and broadcasters across North America.
In addition to his editorial work, Mike brings a wealth of passion and expertise in music, film, and theatre to every project. He has produced and edited standout pitch reels and pilot episodes, often being called upon as a consultant during the development phase of new projects.
Mike's awards include a Golden Sheaf, 11 Promax trophies, and two Canadian TVB Gold Medals. A graduate of the Sheridan College Media Arts Program, Mike continues to push the boundaries of storytelling with every project he takes on.
