Johanna Fogle

Johanna Fogle graduated summa cum laude from Hofstra University's Lawrence Herbert School of Communication in 2019, earning a Bachelor of Science in Video, Television, and Film. Recognized as the "Senior of the Year" in her department, Johanna honed her skills as a producer and first assistant director, setting the stage for her career. Serving as Administrative Assistant to Bill Jennings in Hofstra's film department for three years, Johanna adeptly organized events and forged connections with students and faculty. Over her four years in college, she produced over 40 films, including her own project, "Before I Break," drawing from personal experiences. With a passion for French cinema and psychological thrillers, Johanna finds inspiration in the works of directors such as Ingmar Bergman, Wim Wenders, Stanley Kubrick, Francis Ford Coppola, Agnes Varda, and Pedro Almodóvar. Johanna joined Dawn's Light Movies, LLC, first as Manager of Production & Operations in August 2022, then rising to Vice President of Production in May 2023. Now, as of January 2024, Johanna assumes the pivotal role of Head of Production at Maverick Film, LLC, continuing to shape her mark on the cinematic landscape.
