Joined the industry in 1978 at Pinewood as a trainee matte painter and model maker. After two years moved to Movietonews to obtain my ACTT (BECTU) ticket. Moved to Johannesburg where I worked as an assistant art director on commercials, moving into regional TV as an art director. Took a sideways step to senior/supervising art director since leaving Los Angeles after 12 years designing indie movies and commercials. Enjoying the resurgence since streaming and spending much more time in France and Cape Town both work and (p)leisure.
