Was twice cast to play Eriq La Salle's girlfriend: first in Un príncipe en Nueva York (1988), a role from which she resigned, and then in Sala de urgencias (1994), a role which she played for three seasons.

Gave birth to her first child at age 38, a son named Brandon on December 21, 2004. The child's father is New York restaurateur and her ex-boyfriend Jimmy Rodriguez.
