A Shot in the Dark: Part 2

In this final episode of season 5, Charlie had shown some affection for Caitlin but is now trying to back off of the events. Charlie has gone as far as dating a girl, Kara, that he use to know until she set fire to his bed in a fit of anger. This is trying to convince Caitlin that he does not have feelings toward her. Even if it gets him killed.

Also, the Mayor has met an old high school chum from years back. The chum, Chad, has now become a homeless person living on the streets. Upon finding the reason that Chad dropped out of school, it is revealed that Winston (the Mayor), as a child, had planted some pot on Chad. Thus, Chad was thrown out of school. The Mayor feels bad about the situation and hires Chad to become the voice of the people less fortunate. But when Chad begins stealing the limelight, the Mayor reverts to some old tactics.

This was an episode that was well performed and well written. There were some funny dialog between characters and also some sharp quotes that made the show very humorous. There is something that happens right at the end of the show that most viewers were anticipating. Either good or bad, it appears that the next season is going to be different.

Its crazy how Season 5 plot is the exact exact same as season 4, to the point were it look like a Bad remake In Season 4 :

• Mike and Kaitlin begin a relationship full of sexual attraction , jealousy , competition.

• Kaitlin date a serious Guy ( her ex husband)

-Mike is jealous and try to get kaitlin -They finally get together and they became a serious couple In Season 5 :

• Charlie and Kaitlin begin a relationship full of sexual attraction competition jealousy.

-Kaitlin date a serious guy ( Tim) -Charlie is jealous and try to get Kaitlin -They finally kiss and about to be more

It was disrespectful how Kaitlin broke up with Mike She was not even sad or depress when they were supposed to be a big Love story. Season 5 ruined the Season 4 finale a bit. The way Kaitlin forget mike so quickly and the way she play with Charlie right from episode 1, that sexual tension when she was still in a couple with Mike( she and mike separate in episode 10) Also she was way more sad when Tim broke up with her than when Mike broke up with her. What an absolute joke... Its like if Michael J fox departure have been a mess and the writers decided to created Season 4 all over again.

The difference is Michael J fox is 100 time funnier than Charlie actor... And the storyline seems not force like in Season5 .

But yeah its only a sitcom so who cares, I still loved spin city and Season 5 was saved by the Amazing Paul Carter Stuart and the Mayor. These 4 guys together are the best of spin city ! After Michael of course.
