Many of the license plates have the county label of Dade' The 'Dade' county name was last used in 1994 and the county became Miami-Dade in 1997. Since then 'Sunshine State' has been used for Miami-Dade or 'In God We Trust' if requested.

In 2008 and now Florida issues 3 standard design plates with MyFlorida.com at the top and one of the following at the bottom. 1. Sunshine State. 2. In God We Trust. 3. 'County Name' except for Miami-Dade County.

Florida also requires plate replacement after 10 years so any plate with only Dade would be expired in 2004, 3-4 years before the episode was filmed.

Keeps getting better

I have become addicted to Dexter. The show keeps getting better with every episode. Very well written actors and brilliant lead actors. The show entertains you thoroughly. This episode makes us see many layers of Dexter. He makes you feel for him. You are unsure whether he likes being a normal human being or is he better equipped in acting normal.
