A man-come-stereo goes along on his merry away getting respect for this tunes. However seeing couples on the street kissing leads him to regret not having someone himself. However a chance meeting in a supermarket with a woman-come-cassette sees that change.

Screened separately and together on television and widely available on the internet, this short film was one of several that were commissioned by Robbie Williams to help promote his new album Rudebox. None of the shorts were videos but they were all standalone short films "inspired" by a song off the album but always intended to exist in their own right. Making the biggest use of the Robbie Williams song of the title, this film from Joe Tucker sees one of his acid flashbacks come to the screen. I can only assume that this film did not come from the song as it is so imaginative and off the wall that it more than makes up for the very simple "story".

It is amusing but it is the central idea that held me simply because it seemed to come right out of Tucker's head thus it doesn't make sense in the real world and I wasn't too bothered trying to work out any meaning (ie with the "man" being carried by the stereo). Imaginative and silly and short this film just does what it does then finishes. Not great but it is unique and seems to make no apologies for that, which I quite liked about it.
