Prime Video is adding to its roster of young adult series.
The Amazon-owned streamer has placed a series order for a drama called Sterling Point, created by My Old Ass writer-director Megan Park. The project is the first series for Park, who earned Writers Guild and Directors Guild award nominations for My Old Ass.
Plot details about Sterling Point are being kept quiet for now. Park will direct and serve as co-showrunner with YA veterans Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage (The O.C., Gossip Girl). Amazon MGM Studios is producing the series with LuckyChap; the latter produced My Old Ass, which was a breakout at Sundance in 2024, where Amazon MGM acquired it for distribution.

“Megan’s vision, alongside Josh, Stephanie and LuckyChap, makes Sterling Point compelling,” says Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios. “The series speaks to young audiences while tackling themes that we think will resonate with all age groups and we’re looking forward to bringing their creative vision to life for our global Prime Video customers.”
Says Park, “I am so thrilled to be partnering with LuckyChap and Amazon again after such an incredible journey making My Old Ass together. The trust they have in my world building is every creator’s dream. I feel honored to be working alongside two of the best in the business, Stephanie and Josh, who are masters at their craft. Together, we’re having the best time making something we really love, and hope audiences will love too.”
Park, Schwartz and Savage (via their Fake Empire company) will executive produce the series with LuckyChap, which has a first-look deal with Amazon MGM.
Sterling Point will join a lineup of YA projects at Prime Video that also includes The Summer I Turned Pretty and the upcoming The Runarounds, Every Year After and Off Campus.
