Oscars night has continued the Grammys naked trend.
Last month for music’s biggest night, every iteration of bras, panties, corsets and more made an appearance at the 2025 Grammy Awards for an awards show that The Hollywood Reporter‘s style writer Laurie Brookins wrote could have been dubbed “the underwear Grammys.” (Kanye West’s wife, Bianca Censori, memorably skipped the underwear altogether on the red carpet.)
Now, for the 2025 Oscars, a handful of stars continued to drive that style trend after the red carpet for Hollywood biggest night, leaning into the naked vibe at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, which has become somewhat of a tradition.

Julia Fox arrived to the annual star-studded afterparty Sunday in Los Angeles in a fully sheer Dilara Findikoglu dress that exposed her breasts. The Uncut Gems star wasn’t entirely nude under her see-through, and she was also covered up by extra-long hair extensions wrapped around her body under the sheer look. Fox went minimal on accessories and wore nude makeup, finishing her look with a mesh pointed-toe pump. (Fox later covered up, and picked up a blonde wig, for Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party.)

The Vanity Fair Oscar Party red carpet welcomed another naked-inspired look from Olivia Wilde who went nearly nude but, unlike Fox, did not bare her nipples in her sheer and lace dress. The Don’t Worry Darling director wore a gown from Chemena Kamali’s Chloé Spring/Summer 2025 ready-to-wear collection, with lace underwear on display. Her accessories included a gold clutch and Buccellati silver pendant necklace.

Both Fox and Wilde have a history of baring almost all when it comes to their red carpet style, and they weren’t the only ones.
Megan Thee Stallion also showed up to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party with her breasts exposed, covered only by green nipple pasties to match her green gown. “I just really wanted to give like ‘she’s baring it all at Vanity Fair.’ She’s definitely giving Poison Ivy,” she told the outlet of her fashion inspiration.

Doja Cat followed up her “Diamonds Are Forever” Bond tribute performance during the telecast, where she literally dripped in diamonds with a naked dress adorned by Swarovski crystals, by stepping out on the same afterparty carpet in a trompe l’oeil naked dress.
The Balmain custom-made strapless gown featuring leopard embroidery was hand-crafted by 46 artisans over the course of 5,600 hours. The dress is inspired by a Pierre Balmain haute couture 1953 dress.

Other sheer looks were worn by Vanity Fair attendees Zoë Kravitz, Keke Palmer, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Ciara, Hari Nef, Teyana Taylor, Nikki Glaser and Paige DeSorbo.
