GrUSP Conferences
We have been organizing events since 2003, and since the beginning, we have been guided by three fundamental values: content, community, and dialogue. We organize vertical conferences with internationally renowned speakers to create moments of encounter, discussion, and growth among community members, where everyone can feel at ease.
Since the beginning, we have had a code of conduct. We pay close attention to accessibility in all its forms. Thanks to the fund to increase diversity and inclusion, we can offer scholarships for our conferences.
Become protagonist
The conference is the result of the perfect synergy of different components, fundamental for its realization.
You can become the protagonist in several ways:
- becoming a sponsor or partner;
- supporting us in the organisation and participating in the various initiatives;
- participating by applying for a talk as speaker or as an attendee and becoming part of the community.

Here are some useful resources related to our conferences:
- we have compiled a list of accessibility features that our events have. If there are special needs that we have not covered yet, write to us, we will be happy to be able to work on them;
- find out why to attend our events and what who participated in the previous editions think about it;
- if you decide to apply as a speaker, we have dedicated a section with all the resources you need to apply, structure your talk in the best possible way and know what awaits you at the organizational level to get to the conference;
- we have a fund dedicated to diversity and inclusion through which we can provide scholarships;

FAQ
How can I redeem a free ticket or discount code to access the conference?
If you have a discount code or free ticket to access the conference and you want to redeem it you have to:
- access the Eventbrite page via direct link or by clicking on the button at the top right on the home page of the website of each conference;
- once on the Eventbrite page click on the TICKETS button;
- at the top left, before the list of all available tickets, click the words “Insert promotional code”;
- enter the code respecting upper and lower case;
- click on “Apply” at the bottom of the field.
Now you can select the discounted or free ticket and proceed with the registration process to redeem it.
Once the process is finished you will receive confirmation to the indicated email.
How can request an invoice?
Here’s how the invoice request process works:
- get your ticket on Eventbrite and complete the registration process;
- proceed to payment;
- once the order has been completed, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with your ticket at the email indicated during the checkout process and an automatic email from [email protected] through which you can enter your tax information and request an invoice.
For multiple purchases or payment methods other than PayPal, write an email to [email protected]
How can I save on the ticket price?
You can save on the ticket price by requesting to pay by bank transfer in advance. In this way you will save the fees of EventBrite and those of PayPal.

Why do we use joind.in for feedback?
To receive feedback we decided to use and support joind.in: an open source platform that allows us to publish the program of events and to associate the various slots to each speaker.
We use this tool because we supported its growth and development at an early stage and we strongly believe in the value of constructive feedback.
Feedback via joind.in avoids the form of anonymity because they aim to be sincere and constructive: when a comment is expressed directly, we pay more attention to how it is exposed and the purpose with which it is expressed. Generally, the feedback is more detailed and precise and allows you to better analyze and understand the context and the situation.
Giving feedback anonymously does not allow us as organizer or all speakers to improve as they are very often very superficial and not very concrete, so they often become meaningless.
Finally, having a public list of feedback that each speaker can share is very important for us to thank for taking the time to take part to our conference.
