A mouse is a pointing device that is used to point and select the option on the screen. As same works of wireless mouse. If the mouse is connected to a computer it will be joined either with the help of a USB cable or there must be a Bluetooth connection to support work with the device. They both perform the same task. Still, if we work with a wireless mouse it will be chargeable or connect with Bluetooth with various technologies.
What is a Wireless Mouse?
A Wireless Mouse is a device that is connected to a computer without using any wire. The Wireless Mouse has a wireless battery work. Even though a wireless mouse has a power battery works when we want to run the device, we can run it and when we want to stop it from working we can remove the battery or switch off it. For mouse connectivity, we have to pair it with the device if it's connected with Bluetooth, and many times we receive a USB plug to connect with the device for work. If it's not proceeding with both the processes in that terms we need a software updation in the device for working with that special wireless mouse. In this type of mouse, we can organize the settings according to the performance we want the mouse to perform. It's basically built up in the 2000's. It can also be called a cordless mouse and an input device. Some of the mouse technologies are 3D mouse, Optical mouse, Laser mouse, and Gaming mouse many other, They all perform specific tasks.
Wireless MouseUses of Wireless Mouse
It's good to work with a wireless mouse as the device can be connected to a computer, laptop, or any device with the help of a USB receiver or maybe with a pairing Bluetooth. Even, the tasks that can be performed throughout it. So, some of the uses are also given below:
- Easy to control while presenting a presentation.
- Throughout control while online meetings.
- Easy to perform digital work through it.
- To utilize a computer for managing devices at home.
- In smart classes learning the curriculum activities by managing control.
- Precise control of music while resuming.
- It makes it easy to read e-books.
- Controlling the working devices remotely.
- While entering data in an Excel sheet.
- Browsing video clips or photos on a laptop or computer.
Types of Wireless Mouse
- Mechanical mouse: It has a rubber ball inside the mouse for functioning on the screen. and it's rollers supports it working to managed the movement with the help of rubber ball , that movement create the sensation to drop a signals to a cursor for performing task.
- Laser mouse: It can't works on glossy surface due to light reflection but it's a more powerful device that detect the data on screen otherwise if the surface in smooth or matte it performed it tasks very well.
- 3D mouse: It works for ordinary detection as such zoom, rotate or look after 3D graphics all such kinds of movements. It's basically used by the professionals to look after the graphic designs. Not even too much efforts are made in using it.
- Bluetooth mouse: It can only be connected with any pairing device or merging of Bluetooth with working device, this mouse is that portable device that is convenient to use after pairing. Sometimes, It may need a adapter to connect with working device.
- Gaming Mouse: It designed differently according to choice of the gamers , that have to works for long performance that why it specifically designed with smooth working for long durability.
- Optical mouse: It's an oldest mouse that records a movement. but it has very less features compare to today's modernistic mouse, In the movements also sometimes it create sound and vibrations and generate red light under mouse.
Advantages of Wireless Mouse
- Convenient: It is a fast-responding device that works very smoothly and is very convenient to carry out it's as handy as a laptop. and the main thing we talk about there is the freedom to work with it as we can't work with a wired mouse.
- Portable: It can be portable with only a USB receiver there is no need for a wire to connect to the device, All depends on the battery backup of the mouse and how much it goes on. It doesn't need even a flat surface for it's work.
- Battery life: It uses its battery for working whereas a wired mouse consumes the battery of a device only. Even though the wireless mouse has a battery backup for a long time it may be for months or years. Their battery life can be extended if it's in less use as well.
- Adjustable: Wireless mouse are adjustable in working in every posture. whereas wired mouse wire can be broken down or strained while stretching.
- Noise Reduction: It doesn't create any noise while working not even affect our device. It will be softer in clicking and no click sound or pressing sound created over there. As well we can also say it's a more quieter device.
- Buttons works: Two buttons and one trackball are present over there in one single device. One is the left button another is the right button both perform their specific tasks for a device. Left one for opening an object or selecting a doc. and the right one for access in the file. and trackball is used for moving a cursor.
Disadvantages of Wireless Mouse
- Expensive: Wireless mouse are a bit expensive compared to wired mouse but wireless mouse have their benefits like USB receiver or Bluetooth connection and other settings applications for it work that's why there is more price difference between both mice.
- Heavier in Weight: These types of mouse are heavier in weight. Even, there is less portable mouse due to its access weight, and using it for a long time can be uncomfortable for a user.
- Wrong Connection: Many time device interference can go wrong. At one time many devices are connected then there is the possibility that the mouse can be connected to any device this situation single interruptions can be always held on.
- Discard Battery: For a long-time running process of work, a battery can be discarded in this situation because it's completely made up of raw materials like harmful chemicals, metals, etc. These long working hours can harm the battery.
- Adaptable: Some of the older devices may not connect with a wireless mouse. For using a wireless mouse with the device we have to purchase dongles or additional adapters.
- Hacking: There are very less chances of hacking, still we must support the potential security by being aware of it and making an appropriate decision to protect our data on the device.
