Wand shave() function - Python

The shave() function is an inbuilt function in the Python Wand ImageMagick library which is used to remove pixels from the image.
 

Syntax: 
 

shave(columns, rows)


Parameters: This function accepts four parameters as mentioned above and defined below: 
 

  • columns: This parameter is used to set amount to shave off both sides of the x-axis.
  • rows: This parameter is used to set amount to shave off both sides of the y-axis


Return Value: This function returns the Wand ImageMagick object.

    with image.clone() as shave:
