FAANG Interview Experience For Front-End Developer

The front-end Developer process consists of the following:

• Two coding interviews
• One system design interview
• One management interview
• One values interview

Round 1 (Two coding interviews) :

For browser coding :

You will be writing and running code in a browser to create a basic interactive user interface for this interview. Make sure your computer is ready by configuring an IDE that works with the framework that you are most accustomed to and comfortable with. As a starting point, please configure enough such that you can print the current time as it appears on a website in your browser when it first loads.

For JavaScript coding :

You must write and run code for this interview in a setting where you can observe the code's logged output. Prepare yourself by setting up an IDE on your computer that works with the framework that you are most accustomed to and comfortable with. As a starting point, please configure it sufficiently so that you may view the log of the current time when your program runs.

Every coding interview has a 60-minute time limit and is designed to highlight conceptual thinking, code quality, and coding proficiency.

System Design Interview

The interview also lasts 60 minutes for the system design component. The system design interview is meant to provide as a platform for you to showcase your technical breadth, depth, and expertise by creating a solution for a known issue. Your interviewer will be examining your abilities to solve problems analytically, make decisions, and take operational factors like dependability and performance into account.

The data model, request and response payload, and state management with state normalization were given additional consideration in the system architecture. High-level UI design was the foundation of the inquiry.

Management Interview

The goal of the 60-minute Management Interview is to learn more about your approach to different areas of your position in a team context from one of our engineering managers.

Please prepare examples that highlight your experience leading or participating in one or more projects, as most questions will be scenario-based.

Values Interview

The 45-minute Values interview consists of behavioural interview questions designed to evaluate how well your behaviours and way of thinking match their key values as a firm.
