My Infosys interview experience for a web developer position was as follows:
Phone screen
The phone screen was with a recruiter and lasted about 30 minutes. The recruiter asked me about my background and experience, and why I was interested in Infosys. They also asked me some technical questions about my web development skills, such as my experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development frameworks.
Video interview
The video interview was with a hiring manager and lasted about 45 minutes. The hiring manager asked me more detailed technical questions about my web development skills and experience. They also asked me about my career goals and why I was interested in Infosys.
On-site interview
The on-site interview consisted of three parts: a coding challenge, a technical interview, and a behavioural interview.
Coding challenge
The coding challenge was a two-hour challenge to build a simple web application using a web development framework of my choice. I chose to use Django to build my web application.
Technical interview
The technical interview was a one-hour interview with a senior web developer. The technical interview covered a wide range of topics, including:
- Web development frameworks (Django, Flask, etc.)
- Programming languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
- Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Software design principles
- Software testing
Behavioural interview
The behavioural interview was a one-hour interview with a human resources representative. The behavioural interview covered my work experience, career goals, and why I was interested in Infosys.
Overall experience
Overall, the interview process at Infosys was positive. I found the interviewers to be friendly and knowledgeable. I also appreciated the well-structured interview process and the variety of questions that were asked.
Tips for interviewing at Infosys
Here are some tips for anyone interviewing for a web developer position at Infosys:
- Be prepared to answer technical questions about web development frameworks, programming languages, and databases.
