How to Install Ubuntu Budgie in Virtualbox?

Ubuntu Budgie is a community-developed distribution, integrating the Budgie Desktop Environment with Ubuntu at its core. Whether you use it on an old computer or a powerful workstation, Ubuntu Budgie is adaptable to any device, keeping them fast and usable. It combines the thoroughly-tested and stable Ubuntu core with a modern, lightweight, and traditional-looking desktop developed by the Solus project.

- It can tile applications from the keyboard using New Window Shuffler.
- It can quickly switch desktop layouts using a tool.
- It has 4k resolution support.

System Requirements:
- Ideal for computers having 4GB or more of RAM.
- Ubuntu Budgie ISO File which can be downloaded from here.
- 64-bit capable Intel and AMD processors.
- Virtual Box on the System- Installing the virtual box.
- UEFI PCs booting in the CSM mode.
Installation:
Creating virtual machine:
Step 1: The first step is to create a virtual machine, so open your Virtual Box and simply click on the new button.

Name and OS:
Step 2: Write the name which you prefer for the virtual machine and select it to Ubuntu 64bit Linux architecture.

Allocating memory size:
Step 3: Allot the size of RAM memory you want to allocate to the Virtual Machine of Ubuntu Budgie.

Hard Disk and file type:
Step 4: Check the option to create a virtual hard disk now, then click on the create button.
Step 5: Select the Hard Disk File type for VHD(Virtual Hard Disk).

Storage on physical hard disk:
Step 6: Select the type of storage on Physical Hard Disk to dynamically allocated and the advantage of using it is at times we don't know how much memory would be needed for the program beforehand.

Location and size:
Step 7: Now, you need to allocate the size of your virtual hard disk and also the location where you want to save your machine and its files.

Adding iso file:
Step 8: Click on the Browse icon option located just above the cancel button and select your downloaded Ubuntu Budgie ISO file and then click on the start button.

Configuring display of virtual machine:
Step 9: In-display option, increase the video memory to 120 MB.

Installation menu:
Step 10: When the processing is completed click on the Ubuntu Budgie on the left panel and click on the start button. Select the language for the installation process, then click on Install Ubuntu Budgie.

Keyboard Layout:
Step 11: Select your preferred keyboard layout.

Updates and other software:
Step 12: If you want to download updates while installing Ubuntu Budgie then check its box, but the installation process will take a few more minutes if updates are downloaded simultaneously, otherwise if you don't want updates then click on continue.

Installation type:
Step 13: Select erase disk option and click on Install now.
Step 14: Click on continue.

Location:
Step 15: Browse your location and hit continue.

Account configuration:
Step 16: Type your name and your computer’s name. Pick a username you want and enter a strong password which will be required whenever you or someone else tries to access ubuntu budgie. Then click on continue.
Step 17: After setting up your account details installation process will start and it will take 5-10 minutes to complete.
Step 18: Now click on the restart to restart your ubuntu budgie.

Enter credentials:
Step 19: Enter your password to log in.
Step 20: On the bottom, you can see various icons of different applications like Mozilla Firefox, libre-office, etc.
Now you can go ahead and explore what ubuntu budgie has to offer. To start, let's open the terminal and run few basic commands.
