Asite Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Interview Experience for Java Developer Last Updated : 03 Jul, 2023 Comments Improve Suggest changes Like Article Like Report Hello, my name is Om. I am here to share my interview experience of my on-campus placement. So, when I appeared in several rounds of an interview, Round 1 The first round was an aptitude round. In this round, several questions were asked in the form of mcq on various topics like aptitude, logical questions, C output questions, verbal questions, etc.Technical questions were asked on different topics like computer networks, operating systems, object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, etc. So, this is the part where you need to do preparation. In the logical/verbal part, there is no need to prepare that much as compared to the technical portion. The basic passing criteria were something about more than 60% marks. Round 2 (Technical Round - 1) This round comprised technical questions based on data structure and algorithms, operating systems, object-oriented programming, etc.So, if you have prepared for aptitude you will not face not much problems in this round. And your project also matters because project-based questions may be asked. In my case, he asked me about my project which was about REST API like which API you have used. why you have used that API only? etc. This type of question you can expect in this round.Later he gave to explain inheritance through an example(code). Then he asked me to explain any one of the types of inheritances.Later he asked me about scheduling in the operating system. Then he asked me about different levels of memory or you can say basic memory architecture in the operating systems. Then he moved on to data structure and algorithms. He asked me to explain quick and merge sorting using code, and also asked me to explain binary search as well. Then he asked me basic questions based on the stack, queue, linked list, graph, etc. Round 3 (Technical Round - 2) This round comprised coding questions. They gave me to solve some coding problems. That problem was based on simple arrays like finding the max element from an array, one binary search problem, and one simple graph problem. So, in this round, you must have to take care of the given constraints in the problem like time complexity and space complexity because it shows your knowledge and approach to solving the problem. In my case, I solved all the problems under the logarithmic time complexity and constant space complexity. Round 4 (HR Round) This round was conducted by the hr of the organization. He asked me some questions like why do you want to join this company and why we should hire you these types of questions you can expect in hr round. So, in this situation, you have to give a satisfactory answer to hr because sometimes students will be rejected due to dull performance in the hr round. So, basically in this round, your communication skills were tested. If you are very good at communication then you will not face any kind of problem in this round otherwise please work on your communication skills. In my case, I gave all of the answers very cleverly and correctly. So, this was my interview experience. At the end of 4th round, I was selected.
