I absolutely love how I can query from many sources -- my job typically has large CSVs that are unmanageable in Excel / GSheets, and I love how I can query from both our Snowflake source AND these CSVs. It's been a game changer. I can write complex code and have a digestible format for someone at the end.

It's perfect for me to combine some SQL and easy clicking -- I know some python but don't get it to use it much because am in an exec role; so when I need to plot some stuff for exploratory purposes / business analytics or generate a quick custom graph for a customer, ggplot and loading visualization libraries is going to take an annoyingly long time; and exporting to excel / google sheets and generating graphs isn't replicable for the future. SQL and then generating a graph inside Hex is perfect (Tableau and others hide the raw data too much and sometimes SQL is just the easiest way to pull the data in the format I want). I use it daily.
