Simple, clean UI with amazing AI support to generate scripts and some very realistic AI avatars. The reduction in overhead and time-to-deliver has been game-changing for us, enabling our organisation to support our clients with engaging content at 10% of the cost, delivered in hours, not weeks. I have used the software to create personalized avatars of myself, to make videos more quickly, I am incredibly fascinated with the precision of the avatar and the voice cloning, in addition, the generation of videos is fast and not tiring at all. I really recommend it.

Additionally, I must say that the support from the support chat is incredible, the AI ​​they use to respond gives excellent answers and if more detailed support is needed, they send you to an agent...I loved that. So far I have only had one mishap. Which was like finding out about deactivating the subtitles in the generation, I think this option should be more visible and not so hidden in the preview, but the truth is, the support that the support gave me was incredible, and I didn't have a bad time. Absolutely love the choice of avatars and voices within Synthesia. A big plus was their ethics as well - you cannot upload images or videos of other people here - this is very important to me. It is also super easy to use - I have been using it to add depth to my elearning process videos for software training - it makes it so much more professional and engaging - at least I hope it does! There is not much I dislike about Synthesia to be honest. I only have a Starter subscription but hopefully will be able to upgrade in the near future. The inability to add logos except in the Enterprise subscription is quite limiting - would be great if you could purchase this as a one off - I work alone and have had one client want a logo - but it wasn't worth it for me to upgrade my subscription to Enterprise for one client - just to put their logo on a shirt. It caused a lot of angst but at least I could change the colour of the shirt to their uniform colour but it was quite an issue. The lack of collared shirts can be an issue at my level - and the fact there are only a couple that can have their shirt colour changed. But these are minor issues only. I approached Synthesia to create a short video for IGUV, an association for independent asset managers, targeting FINMA-authorized asset managers. Unfortunately, the video was rejected by Synthesia without providing a clear explanation. The only justification we received referred vaguely to Synthesia’s guidelines. Despite carefully reviewing these guidelines, we could not determine what specifically led to the rejection.

We appealed this decision through the online form but received another generic response stating that our content still violated their policies. No detailed explanation was provided, leaving us in the dark about what caused this arbitrary decision. Even with significant effort and imagination, we cannot figure out what content might have been problematic.

This lack of transparency and arbitrary censorship makes it impossible for us to recommend Synthesia. There is no point of contact for resolving such issues, leaving customers helpless and entirely at the mercy of their unexplained decisions. Under these circumstances, we cannot justify working with this AI platform.

For the broader B2B financial sector, Synthesia’s approach and lack of clarity make them an unsuitable choice. Consistency and transparency are critical in our industry, and this experience has demonstrated that Synthesia falls short on both fronts.

Their response to our appeal further confirms this stance:

"Your moderation appeal has been denied. After careful review, we regret to inform you that your appeal was unsuccessful. Upon reevaluation, we determined that the content in question continues to violate our platform’s guidelines and cannot be reinstated."

The ability to queue animations based on words the narrator speaks, it allows for a more intuitive flow of work. There are planty of templates and video assets from sports to technical pictches for product demos and servicess, a few touches and your all set to blow your audiance. I have been using Synthesia now for just over a month and I am very impressed. The quality of the finished video is fantastic, I have created 3 personal Avatars and they are fantastic. The process is very easy. I am creating videos for training and awareness and all those who have seen the videos have commented on their quality and most thought the Avatars were actually me. Just great software.

The best thing about this tool is the wide variety of presenters or virtual avatars it offers. It's very intuitive, making it easy for new users to get started. Once you learn how to make the most of it, you'll discover even more benefits for any project. There are other tools out there, but none like this one. It doesn't matter what language the text is in—the lipsync of this tool is unmatched, perfectly aligning the voice with the lip movements. The tool has several areas for improvement, such as allowing users to upload their own GIFs or use ones from stock websites. Currently, if you do so, it adds a background instead of keeping it fully transparent in PNG format, as it doesn't support the .MOV format. It also still needs to improve pronunciation for certain words, though with a few tricks, you can work around this issue quite a bit (from my perspective, as someone who frequently uses Spanish).
