On my first impression I Drive gives you more BANG for you buck than other cloud storage options, it is a little different than my previous cloud storage, as in it needs a little more TLC to make it work and understand the options. I did use this service a few years ago and the UI has improved but you need to forget the other cloud storage UI and focus on IDrive and its options, Once done this is a superior product both as for the cost and the functions. What I’m not a fan of is the long initial upload time — uploading all my files the first time took quite a while, which can be frustrating if you have a lot of data. The best part i liked is the speed. I pretty much uploaded few TBs of data almost within a day.

I also loved the all kinds of customisations if offered. You can backup your data your way.

I have yet to use their customer support but i have only heard best things about the support team.

There's nothing major which I disliked but one suggestion is to update the UI of idrive to make it more modern.

Don't get me wrong, current ui is good and it works great but i would love if they do slight overhaul and make the ui 9.5/10 from current 8/10.

The interface of the IDrive console is very intuitive and gives you many options to backup from other cloud storage systems such as Google Workspace and Dropbox. The synchronization and uploading is simple and fast and the use of the IDrive for Desktop drive is a large benefit. As a first-time cloud storage user, I was missing some overviews of how to work with the IDrive and cloud storage. Also some of the terminology such as sync up or sync down were not clear to me. One other issue was when I installed it on my computer, it uses a service to run the backup.
