It didn't take long to explore the features within the application. The graphics are clear, and the steps are intuitive in regards to adding time, and viewing receipts and leave balances. As a Program Manager, I also found it very easy to approve leave and track my team's time. I like the current timesheet graphic (see screenshot), and the ability see hours for each day. It would be even better if the hours were color-coded by charge number so that I could easily distinguish chargeable hours from management hours at a glance. Another add to the graphic that I would find useful is "worked hours vs available hours" so that I could plan for the remainder of the month. This would help me if I was trying to reach monthly time goals. In summary, I found this application to be informative, intuitive, and easy to navigate from both my phone and my tablet. The previous hour tracking program had us doing one week at a time which sometimes would end the week in the middle of the pay period. That would cause us to have to submit up to six timesheets in a month. Unanet does it by pay period which gaurantees that we only have to submit one per paycheck. Some of the issues stated here may be due to issues from the company side. During implementation many of the workers had to resubmit timecards because the wrong task number was initially used. For a couple workers, task codes for PTO and Holiday were not available and we had to wait to submit the time card the first week. The website itself is difficult to navigate as you must click on timecard then list or dashboard. Recommend making to where if you click on timecard or expense it goes to the dashboard immediately, then if someone wants to go to somehwere else on the sitemap they could simply hover over the top tier. Additionally, I have yet to be able to log on to Unanet GovCon on my mobile app as the mobile app asks for a username and password which GPGov employees do not use to log on to unanet. I like Unanet's layout and functionality the most. It is very easy, even as a new user, to find what I am looking for. After 10 minutes in the software, I was already familiar with the layout and structure, due to how intuitive Unanet is. Seems fairly easy to understand and get the hang of for normal users. Heard that it is good for Project Managers as well because it has allowed more than just primary admins to assign charge codes which Procas lacked. We use it for tracking hours, requesting PTO, and submitting expenses every day. As far as I know, it was easy for our company to implement and integrate with minimal pain for normal users. A little clunky and hard to find certain information, submitted expenses and timesheets, PTO balance, etc if you don't know where to look and how to read it. Also, lots of vulnerabilities starting with the session never expiring. We have a team of highly technical people who can elaborate more on all of the vulnerabilities they have found. The best part of using Unanet GovCon to track my time is the ability to autopopulate the start and end time for project tracking. It's allowing me to be more efficient and accurate in tracking the time spent working on my projects. I have installed the Unanet app on my taskbar. When I start work on one project, I simply open the app, make a few clicks, minimize the app and go about my work. When I'm finished that particular project and moving on to another, in a few clicks I have successfully logged accurate time for my work and am on to the next account. The interface is a little old school and clunky, but overall once you get the hang of it and get into a routine it's a breeze to use. I don't like the fact that if I accidently click the Save button, rather than just minimizing the app and I need to add more time to that day I have to populate a reason why. Unanet nos permite gestionar presupuestos de proyectos y de la empresa en tiempo real y en un solo sistema. Cambiamos de Quickbooks a Unanet en 2020 y pudimos eliminar otras 3 soluciones de software que estábamos utilizando también porque Unanet incorporó esas funciones. Está configurado para asegurar que cumplamos con los requisitos de contratación gubernamental, y al mismo tiempo nos permite planificar el tiempo de nuestro equipo, participar en la previsión financiera de la empresa y gestionar el procesamiento de facturas de proveedores y clientes. I am very thankful for the university aspect of this program. However, it would have been nice to have some instruction on where to go in the university to find certain queries that can be answered or resolved.
