Having a cloud-first architecture, I like how quick and easy it is to deploy and implement. Unlike on-premise backup and recovery which takes time and effort to set up and then more time and effort for tweaks after. I also like mow modular the solution is, providing me just enough for what I need because some solutions will provide you with lots of features that you will not use. I don't know how it works exactly but the partnership with Microsoft is outstanding. I can simply integrate my Microsoft services such as Teams and Onedrive in a few clicks unlike others that need additional steps and API integrations that sometimes doesn't work. Support is one thing I recommend Cove can improve. I don't have any problems when recovering because they know it's crucial and you can simply call a number and someone will assist you. However, my concern is for any technical problems aside from a recover. It sometimes take 5 hours, even a whole before someone responds to a ticket I created. Cove Data Protection impressed us with its speedy setup process. From initiating the service to starting our first backup, the entire process took less than 30 minutes—a remarkable turnaround time. The system itself is also fairly intuitive, making it user-friendly even for those less familiar with data protection solutions. One standout feature is the granularity offered for restoring data, which provides a high level of control and flexibility when retrieving specific files or information. While there isn’t much to criticize, there are a couple of areas for improvement. The user interface could benefit from some modernization and refinement to enhance overall usability. Additionally, we encountered a few isolated issues where a single problematic file caused backups to stall for several days. There are several things that I like about Cove! Cove only takes minutes to deploy after initial customer setup. The viewing of data reports is extremely detailed yet easy to understand. File restoration and image resotration is a breeze and has been 100% reliable when we've had to use it. Reseña recopilada por y alojada en G2.com.

The only downside I've had to get used to is that there is not real local backup although you backup as a mirror of the cloud backup, onto a local Nas device. My other issue that is related to this is that being the "local" is a 100% mirror of what is in the cloud, it can often take up your enitre local nas storage space. What I like about Cove is its simplicity of use, from a console I have the ability to manage all backups and launch any restores, its implementation is also simple because with a simple file it can be installed on any device.

Support has always helped me when I needed it and it is also a service I use every day to check backups performed and failed.

Having used Cove in a previousl employment, I've been looking a solution that just works, and doesn't cost the earth.
