Chio was gentle and meticulous and did a wonderful job with one nail extension to rescue my broken nail and got my wedding nails into great shape. I'd always been intimidated by gel polish and had nail techs handle my nail way too roughly but Chio and M&M have calmed my fears.

I booked myself a last minute appointment first thing in the morning for a self birthday gift and Mikiko was just the best (and so fun and interesting to chat with). I brought in a design I found on Pinterest and she did it even better than the picture! I had all my nails cut down to the wick because I was moving and she managed to get gel extensions on there that feel like my real nail but better. I just love it here, y'all. 100% coming back for a fill and more cute nail art.

I love this place! The nail artists here are true professionals who clearly take pride in their work. They do beautiful, clean nails efficiently without ever making you feel rushed. You can tell they genuinely care about the quality of their work—it feels more like a craft than just a job. While they don’t have the largest selection of colors or products, they use high-quality Japanese gel that’s gentle on your natural nails and helps keep them healthy. I’d much rather have skilled nail artists using great products than endless color options. Highly recommend!

Yumi is an artist. I just had my builder gel nails removed. She was so gentle and made the process very easy. I always request her to do my manicures. Yumi is so good and kind. Thank you for making me feel special.

The nail techs are top notch. I get structured gel and it’s amazing - it lasts 4 weeks with no lifting and my natural nails are long & healthy thanks to them. The atmosphere is also great, I always end up having fun convos while I’m there.

It was my first time, and it was great! If you want delicate and beautiful nails. This is the place to go. The staff is super friendly, and profesional. Also, the way they work and take the time in each nail is amazing!! Loved it!!

I’ve been going to Margo for a year more or less and she never disappoints she is by far one of the best nail techs in this studio. My nails have lasted 3-4 months which is a stretch. Nevertheless she’s nice professional and a great nail tech I recommend her <3

This was my first time here and from the moment I stepped in I could tell it was a vibeee. These ladies are so fun and cute it was straight girlhood!! I also have never gotten any kind of acrylic, tips, or anything like that but Angie talked me through it to make sure I knew what she was doing and to make sure I liked it which was just genuine care over her work and for her client. Also, 9pm appt?!! Amazing!! I was able to go to work, do my errands, and still look cute for my sisters wedding. I don’t really get my nails done a lot but this made me WANT to just so I can hang with these ladies!

Beautiful experience as always. I love supporting this Black-owned nail salon—the atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is warm and attentive, and the quality of the work is consistently top tier. My technician was professional, friendly, and clearly very skilled. She paid attention to detail and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire appointment. This was my first time at the Studio, and I am so glad I made the trek. From reception to my Smart Gel Pedicure, I felt pampered and welcomed. Julia did an excellent job taking care to communicate with me throughout and to provide tips on how to keep my feet moisturized. The tea with chocolate was a sweet 😉 touch! Thank you!

I was recommended by a coworker to nail salon. This was my first time at the nail salon and let me tell you…Zarina did not disappoint!!! I showed her a pic of the nails that I wanted and she replicated it exactly!!! I love this place! It was hard to find a place in LIC like this one! And it was so close to my house! I had Zarina and she was awesome but I’m pretty sure all the technicians there are great! Definitely will be coming back!

My appointment with Sayumi exceeded beyond my expectations. I was researching for a nail salon that does Japanese nails and found M&M Studio. I was running a couple minutes behind and let them know, they were very accommodating. When I arrived, I checked in with no problem and they got me seated right away. Sayumi took her time planning out the design of my nails based on the mood board I provided. She was very attentive and made sure the style and design was something that I wanted. Overall, I was very impressed and will definitely come back again.

Everyone was fantastic! Kate at the front desk was super helpful and got me in same day for an emergency lash removal due to a bad reaction to a new lash extension set from another salon. Maria took amazingly great care in removing the extensions. I will go back to have them do my lash extensions in the future!
