An extraction is the process of clearing a clogged or compacted pore by manual or mechanical means. Most people need at least a couple of extractions during each facial, though you may require more extractions if this is your first facial.

Comedones (blackheads) are the most common reason for extraction. A blackhead is not necessarily "dirt in the pores" as many people think. It is a pore that has become clogged with excess sebum and dead skin cells. The dark spot which is visible on the surface of the skin is oil which has oxidized and darkened on exposure to the air, like when you slice an apple and allow it to sit out for a while.

Pustules and pimples can also be extracted, depending on their size and depth. This often requires the use of a lancet to gently lift and remove the very top layer of the pustule to allow the contents to be easily extracted.

This massage is performed using Swedish techniques consisting of long, rhythmic strokes and small circular movements which help to break down adhesions and promote better circulation. Unlike deep tissue massages, a relaxation massage does not address the connective tissue of the muscles. It is not intended to treat sports injuries or other discomfort and is instead used to reduce muscle tension while bringing the body back to a relaxed state. Many people seek relaxation massage treatments after a long week at work or to help improve their mental health.

Brows & Lashes

Please avoid wearing tight clothing,
No hot baths, showers, saunas and steam rooms or excessive sweating / exercise immediately after waxing and up to 48hours after. 
Do not apply deodorants, body sprays powders or lotions after your waxing appointment. 
Avoid the sun as freshly waxed areas are prone to hyperpigmentation.
To prevent ingrown hairs, lightly exfoliate your skin 3 days after, please do this 2-3 times weekly. 
To maintain smoothness, book in for a wax every 4-6 weeks depending on hair growth cycle.
