About Filmfare OTT Awards 2024
The Filmfare OTT Awards, established in 2020 to honour excellence in OTT series and films, have truly become a game changer in the industry. Just like with our Filmfare Awards for Hindi, South, Marathi, or Bengali film industries, the response and support from the OTT entertainment community have been tremendous right from the start, growing exponentially each year.
In the previous year's edition, we recognised and honoured outstanding performances and captivating storytelling. The big winners included Scoop for Best Series, Trial By Fire for Best Series (Critics'), TVF Pitchers Season 2 for Best Comedy Series/Specials, and Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai for Best Film (Web Original). The awards proudly acknowledged supremely talented actors like Manoj Bajpayee, Alia Bhatt, Suvinder Vicky, Rajshri Deshpande, Barun Sobti, Tillotama Shome, Abhishek Bannerjee, Maanvi Gagroo, and Suraj Sharma for their amazing and celebrated portrayals in OTT films and shows.
This year, we continue to celebrate the popular and technical categories for OTT films and series, acknowledging the behind-the-scenes brilliance that enhances the storytelling experience in both the long form and feature-length sections of storytelling. The awards ceremony will be held on December 1, 2024 in Mumbai.
As the digital entertainment industry continues to evolve and thrive, we remain dedicated to upholding the Black Lady's legacy and recognising the ingenuity and brilliance of the Indian OTT segment.
