CHAPTER 1
CONTINUATION OF KUNDALINI AWAKENING
To begin, you must be able to handle the
fundamentals of some basic therapeutic procedures and exercises in order to acquire the capacity to awaken your Kundalini energy. This would include studying old, fundamental, and very simple yoga in order to relax, open
your body and spirit, and channel your energy. Second, you must learn to manage your breathing. Pranayama breathing exercises and knowing the fundamental application of the chakras may help you master Kundalini-specific important breathing methods.
When the objective is to awaken Kundalini’s energy, it is critical to first comprehend the fundamental principles and procedures before attempting to execute them. The pages that follow will teach you the fundamentals of ancient yoga as well as simple poses. This book’s second section will demonstrate and explain the
Pranayama breathing techniques you’ll need to progress and strengthen your inner vital energy. Finally, you will discover everything there is to know about Kundalini, including the key aspects and how to apply them. With patience and perseverance, you will eventually become your own healer and teacher, and you will be ready to experience the immense strength and tenderness of Kundalini energy.
For millennia, dating back to prehistory’s limits, Indian sages have plunged themselves completely into their brains, attempting to find timeless spiritual truths. Through meditation, yoga, fasting, ascetic practice, renunciation, ritual, breath work, mantra, and creative visualization, these inner-world pioneers have participated in self-discovery, delving deeper and deeper into their own experiences and psyche. Some of them have returned from this spiritually and emotionally enlightened experience.
These adepts were successful in recovering several riches, which they passed on to the
trainees, who in turn handed them down until this day. These riches take the shape of mental maps for the possibilities inherent in our experience. These maps outline the pathways we may follow to reach the same goals as previous professors.
One of the most intriguing of these riches is the Kundalini Yoga method. At the same time, the notion of Kundalini, the so-called snake power
coiled at the base of the spine and ready to be unleashed, may seem strange and distant. This section of the book will attempt to demystify and make understandable this method of practice.
What is Kundalini, and why should it be awakened? Kundalini is just the latent capacity for spiritual development. When this potential is released, it erupts as an energetic supernova, with far-reaching consequences in all aspects of existence. It has the ability to result in total awakening and liberation from the ego’s limited and conditioned experience, or enlightenment. If you are reading this book, it is because you are interested in spiritual matters or because you
have experienced the ascent of Kundalini and are unsure what to do about it. I’m hoping that this book contains something for both sorts of readers.
The contents of this book will, to some degree, overlap with those of the Chakras. This is unavoidable given that the esoteric anatomical system outlined is the foundation of Kundalini’s concept. As the Kundalini is dormant, it is situated in the subtle body’s root chakra, and as it awakens, it travels through the chakras to the crown chakra.
Before attempting to work on the information in this book, it is critical to establish a foundation in the Chakra Beginner information. In general, the following practical path is recommended: yoga and meditation, followed by chakra balancing, and finally, awakening the force of the Kundalini.
Yoga and meditation are required to provide a solid foundation for further practice. Yoga prepares your body to be flexible and healthy, preparing you to work with the subtle energy
system via techniques such as pranayama. The sickness will have little effect on your body. Meditation will provide you with a stable and healthy mind, as well as a tremendous concentration capacity, similar to an electron microscope that points straight to your being. Your inner anguish will not quickly alter your thinking, nor will events and circumstances outside your control have a significant impact on your psychological condition.
Working with the chakras entails focusing on certain parts of your mind for balance and healing. The chakra system functions as a mental map, allowing you to gradually remove toxins and heal past scars. This is critical while working with Kundalini since previous sanskaras or trauma-based conditionings might knock you down when they encounter the developing power of Kundalini.
In all of these stages, it is beneficial to engage with a trained instructor who can assist you avoid mistakes and risks while also pushing you to deal
with your ego’s blind spots. However, particularly in the case of Kundalini, a teacher is required.
As a result, whatever information is presented in this book should be regarded as a diligent and responsible fellow student rather than a replacement for a particular instructor.
There is no alternative for a teacher who lives and breathes his or her subject. Perhaps we feel we can communicate with our inner instructor or encounter our teacher through dreams and visions. But we’ll delude ourselves. We must escape the danger of being questioned by a teacher in order to develop on the spiritual path and avoid being lost in our fantasy world. Only via such obstacles can we expect to reach the desired outcome.
What exactly is Kundalini?
Kundalini is related to Shakti, which means power.
In this situation, we are discussing the intrinsic divinity of the world, which our scriptures refer to as Shiva. Her Shakti has taken the form of a goddess. While Shiva is the ultimate deity, the cause of the phenomenal world, and the transcendent witness to it, Shakti is the phenomenal world itself. It is the never-ending play of heavenly energy, the never-ending dance of manifestations. Shiva and Shakti are
the divine modalities of masculine and feminine life, respectively. However, they are not distinct from one another and form an integrated whole. This oneness is often referred to as non-duality.
This isn’t simply philosophical fantasy or mythology. It is a description of your experience that is meant to help you comprehend it experientially. As a result, the concept of Shiva and Shakti should not reflect a distant condition of events, but rather something extremely personal and intimate. It’s a subjective reality right now, the same dynamic as your awareness.
Consciousness is seen as having two poles. There is awareness itself, which has no distinct color, form, or characteristics yet reflects everything it encounters. It is the permanent and complete point of awareness. Simultaneously, this awareness appears as the limitless multiplicity, color, and fanfare of experience. This encounter encompasses both your inner and outside worlds. Shakti is a set of creative and energetic abilities, while Shiva is your center of awareness.
Even these poles do not divide objects from one another. Experience is constantly creatively manifested within the immutable field of pure awareness. That awareness is the space in which our lives occur.
Shiva is the Supreme Being and the foundation of all existence. In the end, we are identical to this Being, yet exploring the potential of one’s Being requires unique and restricted forms. The S- uppercase self-differs from the microscopic self of personal selfishness. In Sanskrit, ego
is known as ahamkara. It is the part of oneself that thinks I
and mine,
who attempts to take and own the experience, to freeze it in something concrete and controllable, and who constructs complicated tales and self-images. These
