Clicking the button will download the zip file. Extract it to a folder on your PC. Use those workbooks as you read the lessons. If you mess up, no big deal, unzip the files again and start over.
Who this book is for
This book is intended for normal Excel users who have always been interested in macros but have never found a good resource to learn them. Yes, macros can be intimidating. They can be very difficult, but they don't have to be. If you have always been interested in Excel programming or have thought of a few projects you would like to do, then this is the series for you.
Notice that I said it was a series. This is the first book in the series. Programming is a HUGE topic and if I tried to put everything in one book, it would be huge tome. Now be honest with yourself, if you saw a book on Excel programming that was 1,000 pages, would you really read it? Unless you're in school, most people won't sit down and slog through a huge, dry topic. At best, you'll get through a few chapters, forget most of the material and then stop trying. There's nothing wrong with you, it's just that it a tough topic and it has a lot of stuff in it; it's both broad and deep.
Instead of a huge dry book, I will have several short, to the point lessons covering just one topic. I think this will make the material easier to absorb, less intimidating and if you buy several
