The intent of the book is to provide you with what you need to know without any fluff. And to make it an easy to read as possible, so you do not have to hunt down what you need to get you started.

You will also notice, this book has enough space between sentences to write notes; this way you can use this book as a reference to find what you need when you are looking for it.

1.Research, the company.

2.Research, the person you are going to meet with for things you have in common. Example: (where they went to school, where they worked before)

3.View the job role and responsibility in detail.

4.Research what you are not an expert in.

5.Research the industry of the company. (Benchmarks, trends)

6.Research the culture. (Social Media) Glassdoor.com

7.Research the salary and reviews of the company in Glassdoor.com

8.The Phone interview - make sure you have your resume memorized and company research complete.

9.The In-Person interview - make sure you have several copies of your resume, have your cell phone turned off, and you are dressed professionally, arrive 15 minutes early.

10.Have prepared questions related to the job in the interviews.

11.Be very polite and professional to the first persons you come in contact. Example: (secretary, HR clerk, receptionist)

12.Have a prepared pitch for the interview tell me about yourself open-ended question’s to talk about your professional accomplishments.

Reasons why you don’t get the job

1.When you hear this sentence you know you are not going to get the job it has been a pleasure, we are still interviewing other candidates, why because they had other people in mind.

2.The company already had a candidate in mind, and they are going thru the motions to appear fair or to see what is the pool of candidates.

3.The company did not have the job approved in the budget. (must be in the budget that budget is your salary).

4.If you still want the job, volunteer your salary, and undercut your pay against the competition or the person they had in mind. The fact that you agreed to make way less,
