Heartfelt Thoughts: Chapters Four & Five
()
About this ebook
I write all of these poems, and for me, it is exploring my mind and transposing my thoughts into written words And, in so doing, I do get peace of mind.
For I am the strolling wayfarer; leaving footprints in the sand Searching for what is my future; seeking what is already planned Nomadic as it is to some; to me it's just mind walking Thoughts worth searching for; I find by doing, not by talking
For love of life will go on and on And songs of mine will be my life song
My mind library is public and my thoughts are free. Enjoy and sing along with me.

Preface
What is really interesting is the fact that through three books of poetry, I can still find enough material to continue writing about traveling through the mind. I suppose and hope that this ability will go on for a long time.
Poetry is still being written with the same casualness and ease. What I have also found is that my architectural design has come to me much more freely and a solution to a problem is more readily attainable. That is excitingly satisfying. Now one form of creativity seems to spark the other.
I have dedicated this book to the guy in the mirror. I don’t really know totally who he is yet, but the image is becoming more and more clear with each passing day.
Please enjoy this, the fourth book, as much as I have enjoyed creating it and now bringing it to you.
Dovetailing
I sit reposed
with fingers clasped
and intertwined
receiving thoughts
to fingertips
and soon the words
begin to gel
and all the pieces
happen to
come together
forming
interlocking
beginning
a creation
of heart and mind
and when
the task
is complete
I’ve become
the better for it
Poetry in Motion
flame flickering and dancing in cozy cabin fireplace
gull soaring and swooping before the sky’s blue face
meteor shooting and slashing across inky night space
motions leave one awestruck of nature’s amazing grace
surf pounding and thrashing upon the rocky coastline
springbok gliding and springing over the lea so fine
hummingbird darting and hovering about the columbine
rhythm of graceful motion shows nature’s poetic sign
cloud drifting and changing patterns in the azure sky
swan floating and sliding white regal head held high
swallowtail alighting and flitting, lovely flutter-by
thru motion poetry, nature’s miracles thrill the eye
