KEY SIGNATURES
Any group of tones related to each other and all drawn to a central tone like a tonal magnet is called a Key. The central tone in a key is called a Key tone. Major scales make major keys. Each one has a group of tones all related to each other and all drawn to a central tone (the key tone) which is the name of the scale or key.
