On 8 June 2005, the European Parliament adopted the final report of the temporary committee (rapporteur: Reimer Böge) with 426 votes in favour, 140 against and 122 abstentions.

The report sets the figures the European Parliament will defend in the negotiations with Council on the next Financial Perspective 2007 - 2013.

The figures proposed by the Böge report within the multi-annual framework are:
Competitiveness and cohesion€ 459 035 million
Preservation and management of natural resources (including the CAP)
€ 396 248 million
Citizenship, security and justice
€  19 437million
The EU as a global partner
€  70 697million
Administration (except Commission)
€  28 620 million
TOTAL
€ 974 837 million

and a "flexibility box" of 0.03% of EU GNI outside the ceiling of the Financial Perspective:
