State of the implementation of the Conditionality Regulation - Exchange of views with Piotr Serafin, Commissioner for Budget, Anti-Fraud and Public Administration

On 19 March 2025, MEPs of the CONT and LIBE committees discussed with Laura Codruța Kövesi, European Chief Prosecutor, the Annual activity report of the Office of European Public Prosecutor for the year 2024.

On 18 March 2025 the ECA Special Report 04/2025 "EU military mobility – Full speed not reached due to design weaknesses and obstacles en route" was presented to Members of the Committee of Budgetary Control (CONT), the Committee of Transport and Tourism (TRAN) and the Committee of Security and Defence (SEDE) by reporting ECA Member Marek Opioła.

On 18 March 2025, the Members of the Committee on Budgetary Control voted on the draft own-initiative report (INI) on the Protection of the European Union’s financial interests – combating fraud – annual report 2023.

On 18 March 2025, the Budgetary Control Committee held a hearing and voted on the nomination of Mr Lucian Romașcanu as the Romanian Member of the European Court of Auditors (ECA).

On 17 March 2025, the Members of the Committee on Budgetary Control considered a draft opinion to BUDG and ECON Committees implementation report on the Recovery and Resilience Facility.

On 17 March 2025, CONT Members considered the own-initiative draft report on the control of the financial activities of the European Investment Bank (EIB) - annual report 2023.
