We are just a week out from the opening game of the Euro 2024 and the final preparations are being put in place by all 24 teams heading to Germany this summer.
Most managers heading to the tournament have only one more task left to do before they board the flight to Germany, and it may be their most daunting.
Gareth Southgate amongst many other managers must select a 26-man squad list which he will take to Germany to try and claim European glory.
Southgate and his management need to cut seven players from their initial 33-man shortlist and it seems like the England boss may not even wait until the deadline to name who he has given the axe to.
It has already been revealed that midfielders James Maddison and Curtis Jones will not be named in England's final Euro 2024 squad come Friday night.

With the 17th edition of Euro 2024 tee'd up to get underway on Friday, June 14 when hosts Germany play Scotland at the Allianz Arena, the final squad announcements are imminent.
UEFA have confirmed that Friday, June 7 is the deadline day for teams to register their final squads.
The exact time squads need to submit their 26-man list is by 11pm Friday night.
UEFA regulations state that final squads must be registered seven days before the beginning of the European Championship.
However UEFA's rule also states that injured players can be replaced at any point before the opening match of the tournament.

This is good news for both England and Scotland as the two British sides will be in action just two hours before the deadline is due.
Gareth Southgate's Three Lions play Iceland ahead of their final pre-tournament preparations on Friday, June 7 at 7:45pm.
Whilst Steve Clarke's men face Finland at the same time for their final pre-tournament game.
